I am on a "road-trip" for two weeks travelling up the West Coast of South Africa. I am travelling as close as possible to the ocean along all the coastal sand tracks. My first stop is here at Elands Baai where I encountered one of the Westerns Cape's notorious winter "fronts".
My destination is the Richtersveld where I will stay for 8/10 days. This morning at 4:0am - the time I usually get up to prepare for a shoot - the rain was hammering on my tent. I got up slowly and by 9: was fed and ready for... what?
The sea was, sorry no is spectacular. I got close enough to capture a little of its power despite the water from the sky and the ocean.
